Concert Band Scholarship

All Raven Regiment Incoming Freshmen have an opportunity to audition for a Music Department Award for an ADDITIONAL Tuition Reducing Financial Award that stacks on top of the $1,500 Raven Regiment Marching Band Scholarship. The amount of the Music Department Award depends on audition. Try to submitt your application as soon as you can over the summer!

The process is quick and simple. 

1. Record a video on a cell phone: 

Brass / Woodwind players should perfom extracts from two contrasting pieces of solo or band music. This should last no longer than 5 minutes for each piece. 

Percussionist should give examples of their playing on any / all of these areasl drum set, mallet, un-tuned percussion. 

2. Upload your video to a cloud service like YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, One Drive, etc. (make sure settings are set to 'anyone with the link can view).

3. Download, fill out, and sign the Music Participation Agreement Form.

4. Send the form and recording link in an email to music@benedictine.edu
